My experiences post total pancreatectomy.

I am a middle aged woman with a wonderful, loving & supportive husband. I also have a soon to be college graduate son who is equally loving & just as supportive as his dad.

I’m an RN & former cardiothoracic intensive care nurse who has been unable to fulfill my career goals due to illness but I have created a wonderful life with my family & friends. I wouldn’t change a thing! OK, maybe I would change a couple of things, like biting my nails. But for the most part, my life is Good!!

As Kerry Sparling, from “Six Until Me” has said, ‘Diabetes doesn’t define me. It just explains a lot about me”
